Boutique Onboarding & Marketplace Rules
Version and effective date: 22 September 2026
Please read this document carefully. It affects legal rights and creates binding obligations. Use of the relevant Baytna Boutique services constitutes acceptance as described below.
These Baytna rules supplement—not replace—the agreements that apply when a boutique activates Stripe Connect.
Stripe Connected Account AgreementStripe prohibited and restricted businessesAuthority and accurate information
You confirm that you are legally authorised to register and operate the boutique, accept these rules for the business, and provide complete, current and truthful identity, licence, ownership, contact, tax and bank information.
You must promptly update information that changes. Forged, misleading, borrowed or manipulated documents, identities, licences, bank accounts or business details are prohibited.
Lawful products and honest listings
You may list only genuine products that you are legally permitted and able to sell. Counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, recalled, infringing, deceptive, illegal, sanctioned, prohibited or undisclosed third-party products are not allowed.
Every listing must accurately describe the product, condition, materials, size, origin, price, stock status, expected delivery interval and any material limitation. Product images must be owned or properly licensed by you and must represent the item offered.
Orders, fulfilment and customer care
You are responsible for accepting and fulfilling orders, keeping stock and delivery estimates accurate, packaging products safely, using lawful shipping services, communicating delays, and providing customers with appropriate receipts and support.
You must publish and honour clear cancellation, return, exchange and refund terms that comply with applicable consumer law. You remain responsible for the products, fulfilment, warranties, complaints and customer remedies connected with your boutique.
Stripe Connect and payment information
If you activate online payments, you authorise Baytna Boutique and Stripe to collect, verify, use and share the information required to create and administer your connected account, process transactions, prevent fraud, handle refunds and disputes, and send eligible payouts to the verified bank account.
You must comply with the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, the Stripe Services Agreement that applies to your account country, and Stripe's current prohibited and restricted business rules. Stripe may request additional information, delay or restrict services, or refuse a business or transaction under its rules and applicable law.
You must not use Baytna or Stripe for another undisclosed merchant, provide false or misleading business information, process transactions without a genuine product sale, or attempt to evade monitoring, reserves, sanctions, card-network rules or verification requirements.
Fees, payouts, refunds and disputes
Customer payments may be processed through Baytna's Stripe platform configuration. Applicable Stripe processing charges, Baytna platform commissions, refunds, dispute amounts, reversals, reserves, taxes or other disclosed amounts may be deducted before or after a payout as permitted by the applicable agreements and law.
A displayed balance or pending payout is not a guarantee of settlement. Payout timing depends on successful payment, connected-account eligibility, available balance, verification, risk review, refunds, disputes, reserves and banking availability.
You must cooperate promptly with refund, chargeback and dispute requests and provide accurate evidence by the stated deadline. Amounts owed after a refund, dispute, reversal or negative balance remain payable by the boutique where permitted by the applicable agreements and law.
Privacy, security and marketplace conduct
Use customer information only to fulfil the relevant order, provide support, meet legal obligations, or for another purpose supported by valid consent or law. Do not sell, expose, misuse or retain customer data longer than necessary.
Keep account credentials private, use authorised team access, protect devices and report suspected compromise, fraud, unsafe products, data incidents or unlawful activity promptly. Do not manipulate reviews, harass customers, divert payments deceptively or interfere with another boutique or the marketplace.
Review, suspension and continuing obligations
Baytna may review information and listings, request evidence, hide or remove content, pause checkout or payouts, cancel access, preserve records, or cooperate with Stripe, banks, card networks, regulators and law enforcement where reasonably required for safety, compliance, disputes or platform integrity.
Verification or a badge is not a government approval, product guarantee or promise of future access. These rules supplement the Baytna Terms of Agreement, Privacy Notice and Confidentiality Agreement. The stricter applicable legal, payment-provider or platform requirement controls where obligations differ.
